Egisheim (Alsacia, Francia)

Egisheim es una de los más típicos y cuidados pueblos de la Alsacia. El trazado de sus calles es circular, las casas están cubiertas de flores y en sus alrededores, las colinas se cubren de viñedos.

Egisheim is one of the most typical and elegant villages of Alsace. The tracing of the streets is circular, the houses are covered of flowers and the surroundings show the hills covered of vineyards.

Actualmente, Egisheim tiene unos 1600 habitantes que viven de la viticultura y del turismo. Destacan el Castillo de los Condes de Egisheim y la Capilla del San León IX, que fue Papa entre 1049 y 1054.

Nowadays, Egisheim has approximately 1600 inhabitants who live of viticulture and tourism. Out-standing places are the Castle of the Counts of Egisheim and the Chapel of the Leo IX, Pope of Rome in 1049-1054.
