Las "Houses Of Parliament" (Londres, Reino Unido)
The "Houses Of Parliament" (also known as Westminster Palace) is the meeting place of the two Houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It lies on the north bank of the River Thames and originally served as a royal residence, although it had other different uses since sixteenth century. It contains aproximately 1,000 rooms, the oldest one is Westminster Hall, that dates from eleventh century.
.
Most of the present structure was built between 1840 and 1888 in a gothic revival style that combines with nearby Westminster Abbey.

Today's picture was caught by my friend Juan Carlos from the "London Eye", the enormous big wheel built in 1999 at the south side of the river.
